The owners have farm animals, trail horses, grow their own crops, and have wine vineyards and olive groves. The owner of this house is a fine Italian mason and is a stone sculptor, and the house restoration shows the dedication and skill with which this house was lovingly restored. There are 2 large apartments and a small studio apartment; (ideal for 1 or 2 persons, having a single bed, with a small kitchen, and bathroom. A very economical alternative compared to larger apartments in most Tuscany homes for rent.) The main front apartment of the house is called Gli Avi, and has a Master Bedroom, a 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds, a sleeping sofa, Living Room with a Fireplace, a large modern Kitchen, and a large Bathroom. There is a private large patio of the front door entrance, with a spectacular view. This apartment can sleep 4 to 6, and is very affordable. The owners also offer for an additional charge, breakfast and evenings meals in true Tuscany tradition with reservations in advance. The rear apartment of the house is called La Nonna, and has one large bedroom, a sleeping sofa, Living Room with a Fireplace, a large modern Kitchen, Bathroom, and a small terrace at the front door with a beautiful view. This apartment can sleep 2 – 4 persons. Meals are available as above, all meals served in the Great Hall with a Grand Fireplace, near the swimming pool.

This house is approximately 11/2 hour to Florence, by car or train, 21/2 hour by car or train to Rome, 11/2 hour to Siena by car, 20 minutes by car to the main town Castiglion Fiorentino, in the province of Arezzo, 30 minutes to Arezzo by car or train, and 30 minutes by car to Cortona.
